Frequently Asked Questions:
What's the difference between this commercial-grade pole and other telescoping poles?
Our commercial telescoping poles have a larger 3" base diameter, utilize thicker aluminum, come with a larger 4'x6' U.S. nylon flag, and a 10-year warranty.
Can I fly two flags simultaneously?
Yes, all of our flagpoles can fly one or two flags at the same time. For this flagpole, we recommend a 3'x5' flag for the additional flag.
Can I fly three flags simultaneously?
We do not recommend you fly a third flag on this pole. If you must temporarily fly a third flag, we recommend that you double hook the bottom clip and use a very loose zip tie to accommodate the bottom grommet for the third flag.
I am getting squirted with water when I lower the flagpole!
If water is squirting out of the pin hole when you lower the flagpole down, then you have a drainage issue. Lower the flagpole down, pull it up out of the ground sleeve, and look down in the ground sleeve to ensure proper drainage. If you recall installing the flagpole, you will remember there is crushed rock/gravel down under the installation sleeve so that the water is pulled away from the Flagpole after heavy rains. Take a small pipe/rebar/broom handle, and pound down in the ground sleeve to make sure that nothing is preventing water from draining away from the Flagpole. (You could even use a shop-vac and clean out the installation sleeve.)
Proper drainage is especially important if you are in a climate that freezes. If you have water in the pole or ground sleeve, it can turn to ice, and can expand and shift some of the internal parts.
I’m in a freezing climate. Should I keep my flagpole up or down in the winter?
If you are in a climate that freezes, either keep the flagpole extended in the full upright position OR take it in for the winter. Do not keep the flagpole sitting down in the installation sleeve in the lowered position. Make sure to check your installation sleeve for proper drainage before frost hits. Sometime in the fall, pull the flagpole up out of the sleeve and make sure the sleeve is dry.
If you wish to lower the flagpole in the winter, lower it all the way down, pull it up out of the sleeve, and store inside for the winter. This will prevent any ice damage that may occur if the sleeve is not draining properly.
What is the height of the pole when it's fully collapsed?
The total collapsed height of the 20' telescoping flag pole is 7'6".
How can I fly my flag at half staff?
No additional parts are required to fly the US flag at half staff. You are only able to fly one flag. The US flag top grommet is moved to the second swivel ring second clip. The bottom grommet is clipped on the third swivel ring clip.

Very high quality flagpole at a very fair price. I was extremely pleased when I received my new flagpole. I waivered between the 20' and 25' pole - ended up purchasing the larger 25' pole and so very happy I did! Delivery was prompt without issues. Took the better part of an afternoon to install working alone, but most of that time was digging. Once the hole is ready, it's a very simple and foolproof installation. I probably dug my hole a bit wider than necessary and used 6-bags of concrete. Flag has been flying proudly since early Summer `22 and looks beautiful in the evening with the solar up-light kit.
