According to Fox8 News, Carroll County Sheriff, Dale Williams, passed away this past weekend. Sheriff Williams served in the sheriffs office since the 1960’s, and served Carroll County as Sheriff for 18 years. His determination and sacrifice will not be forgotten.
In honor of Sheriff Williams, Governor Mike DeWine has ordered all flags on Ohio public buildings and grounds be flown at half staff from sunrise on September 26 to sunset on the day of internment, September 30. All Ohio residents are invited to show their respects as well and lower their flag to half staff.
