Each year, the Minnesota Fire Service Foundation memorializes those firefighters who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. Sunday September 25 is Minnesota Fallen Firefighters Memorial Day. In honor of this, Minnesota Governor Tim Walz has asked all state buildings to fly their flags at half staff.
All businesses and families are invited to show tribute and honor to those who have fallen and their families by putting their flag at half staff, as well.
