On September 23, Peter Atonacci passed away. He was known in Florida as a tenacious man who served his state faithfully since 1988. According to the federalist society, Atonacci served in a variety of roles, the last one being
Director of Florida’s Office of Election Crimes and Security.
In memory of the service of Peter Atonacci over the last 34 years, Governor DeSantis has ordered all flags to be flown at half staff from sunrise to sunset on October 3, 2022. All Florida residents are invited to bring their flag to half staff, as well.
