A customer of ours, John B. found an ingenious way to further protect his heavy duty telescoping flag pole from the elements. In his own words, John explains exactly what he did and why he did it.
"I purchased two 4” Fernco rubber couplings as seen in the picture. One of the couplings fit right over your 3” sleeve and the second one I cut down to fit tight around the pole itself and then slipped down inside the other coupling. I’m really happy with how it came out and it doesn’t interfere with the pole itself but does deter someone from trying to easily pull the pole out. This also keeps dirt from going down the sleeve.
